Male' City Council has contracted the maintenance work of lifts of Male' Hiya and Sinamale' flats to Contech Private Limited.

The handover took place during a special ceremony held on December 22, marking a significant step in ensuring the upkeep of essential infrastructure in these residential buildings. The contract encompasses lift maintenance for Sinamale’ 3 and 4, as well as Male’ Hiya 1 and 2.

According to the city council, the contract was awarded at a total cost of MVR 79,937.28, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). This amount translates to a monthly expense of MVR 6,661.44, with the agreement spanning a one-year period.
