Four individuals were arrested following a drug enforcement raid on an apartment in Hiya Flat following a confidential lead, resulting in the seizure of drugs and a substantial sum of cash.

The operation took place on 23 December, targeting the apartment H9-20-11. The suspects were taken into custody under the direction of the Criminal Court. 

The arrested individuals were identified as Semitone, Ibrahim Shareef (40), Gaafu Dhaalu. Kolamaafush, Abdulla Hasan (41), Haa Dhaalu Neykurendhoo, Hussain Riyaz (33), and Gaafu Alif Abdulla Jameel (32) of Dhaandhoo.

During the search of the apartment, authorities seized a large sum of money, multiple mobile phones, drugs, and materials believed to be used for packaging drugs. The police have confirmed that the matter is under investigation, but further details about the operation or the evidence have not been disclosed at this time
