South Henveiru MP Ahmed Aifan has expressed confidence that President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s leadership will effectively address the country’s pressing social and economic challenges.

Speaking to MMTV following the Presidential Address on February 6, 2025, MP Aifan highlighted ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse, gang violence, and crime, stating that tangible measures are already underway.

He criticised opposition lawmakers for attempting to disrupt the Address, accusing opposition MPs of deflecting responsibility for past financial mismanagement. MP Aifan argued that those who had contributed to the country’s economic difficulties were now unwilling to acknowledge their role.

The MP reaffirmed his support for President Dr Muizzu’s policies and pledged that lawmakers would remain committed to fulfilling the Government’s promises to drive national development forward.
