Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, has met with key state-run companies to ensure the smooth clearance of essential imports ahead of Ramadan.

The meeting, attended by officials from Maldives Ports Limited, Maldives Airports Company Ltd, Maldives State Shipping, State Trading Organization, and Maldives Customs Service, focused on streamlining import processes to prevent delays and shortages during the holy month.

Minister Saeed stressed the importance of inter-agency coordination to maintain the steady flow of essential commodities, including food supplies, during Ramadan.
