Saudi Ambassador bids farewell, thanks Maldives for warm hospitality

The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Maldives, Matrek bin Abdullah Al-Ajalin Al-Dosari, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people and Government of the Maldives as his tenure comes to an end.
In a message posted on X, Ambassador Matrek extended his thanks to the Saudi leadership, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, for granting him the honour of representing Saudi Arabia in the Maldives. Reflecting on his time in the country, he described the Maldives as a beautiful nation and expressed appreciation for the kindness and generosity of its people.
He also conveyed his sincere thanks to the Maldivian Government, its people, and diplomatic missions and international organisations for their collaboration in serving the country’s interests. Additionally, he acknowledged the support of the Saudi Embassy staff in fulfilling their duties to serve Islam, the King of Saudi Arabia, and the Kingdom.
As part of his departure, Ambassador Matrek paid a farewell courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on April 8. During the meeting, President Dr Muizzu thanked the Ambassador for his efforts in strengthening diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia during his tenure.
