Ahmed Ali resigns from DBM board

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) announced on Thursday that Ahmed Ali, a member of the board of the Development Bank of Maldives (DBM), has officially resigned from his position.

According to the PCB, Ahmed Ali submitted his resignation on Wednesday. As such, the board has accepted his resignation and formally removed him from the post.

Ahmed Ali, of Ma. Wayside, was appointed to the DBM board on August 21. Prior to this role, he held senior positions at the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA), bringing with him extensive experience in public finance and administration.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Sharia Law, as well as a Master of Science in Finance.
