President Dr Mohamed Muizzu reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the Constitution and enforcing the laws of the Maldives, emphasising that the rule of law must be maintained without exception or discrimination.

In a statement on his official X account, the President underscored the fundamental principle of legal equality and asserted that the implementation of constitutional provisions and national laws must be conducted with complete impartiality—free from bias, prejudice, or preferential treatment.

President Dr Muizzu stressed the necessity of ensuring that justice is administered independently and objectively, uninfluenced by individual circumstances or social distinctions. He stated that considerations such as economic status, family background, social rank, personal reputation, affiliations, or political allegiance must have no bearing on the equitable application of the law.

Throughout his tenure, President Dr Muizzu has introduced multiple initiatives designed to strengthen accountability across all branches of government. He has consistently reiterated that any individual found in violation of regulations, whether in Ministries, state-owned enterprises, or other public entities will face the full force of the law, without exception.
