The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has called on the owners of 17 land vehicles to attend the Ministry in connection with ongoing investigations into issues that have been reported.
In an announcement published in the Government Gazette, the Ministry stated that the owners of the 17 vehicles must appear at the ministry within the next seven days. Those who are unable to attend within this timeframe are instructed to email their phone number, email address, and current residential address to [email protected].
The Ministry also emphasised that failure to respond or appear within the given period, or failure to inform the Ministry in the prescribed manner, will result in actions being taken in accordance with regulations.
Upon taking office, the current Government identified numerous concerns within the services of the Transport Ministry, particularly with the registration of four-wheeled vehicles. Notably, these issues included the registration of multiple vehicles to a single garage without proper procedures, as well as complications with "fraudulent" domains.
