President Dr Muizzu Visits the PETRONAS Twin Towers

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has visited the PETRONAS Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur today.
The President’s visit to the PETRONAS Twin Towers was a part of his official visit to Malaysia.
During his visit to the Twin Towers, President Dr Muizzu explored the iconic building and learned about its architectural and cultural significance.
Upon arrival, the President was welcomed by Bacho Pilong, Senior Vice President of Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM), and given a guided tour of the Skybridge and the Observation Deck, where he was briefed on the architectural innovation and national importance of the towers.
President Dr Muizzu’s visit to the PETRONAS Twin Towers emphasises the role of cultural diplomacy and signifies the friendly ties between the two nations.
The President's visit to Malaysia reflects the close and enduring ties between the two countries to strengthen cooperation, enhance services for Maldivians residing in Malaysia, and address their concerns.
During his visit, the President had official talks with the Malaysian Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, to enhance their bilateral relationship and identify new opportunities for collaboration across various sectors.
Following their talks, the two leaders issued a joint press conference and exchanged several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in areas such as tourism, sports, and health. He also participated in a luncheon arranged by Prime Minister Anwar.
President Dr Muizzu also met with Maldivians living in Malaysia and inaugurated the Maldivian Students Association Malaysia.
