India’s MIOT Hospital has officially launched its rehabilitation services in the Maldives. 

In the past 10 years, thousands of Maldivians have received rehabilitation services from the MIOT Hospital. 

With the emphasis on making these services affordable and accessible to Maldivians, MIOT has opened the MIOT Rehab Centre at G. Moonimaage, Malé. 

MIOT Hospital’s Management stated that with the establishment of this rehabilitation centre, all of its rehabilitation services will now be provided under one roof. The centre will offer comprehensive care for neurological, cardiopulmonary, orthopaedic, trauma-related, and cancer-related conditions

The centre will offer rehabilitation services for neurological, cardiopulmonary, orthopaedic, trauma-related, and cancer-related conditions. A team of specialised doctors will act to provide services in this centre, including Rehabilitation Specialists, Neurologists, Psychiatrists, Physicians, Speech Language Pathologists, and other related specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

MIOT will utilize the latest technology and equipment for treatments, with instant feedback provided by MIOT Hospital in Chennai upon completion.

In addition, MIOT will also provide general therapy services and emergency treatments. With the resuscitation room and physiotherapy support, the centre will provide treatments for forgetting, attention, and sleep loss.
