Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, the Minister of Islamic Affairs and a senior founding member of the Adhaalath Party, has announced his decision to rejoin the party on April 30, 2025.

He also intends to contest in its forthcoming internal elections for the presidency.

Dr Shaheem, who was instrumental in the founding of the Adhaalath Party, shared the announcement on X.
