Abdulla Muththalib, Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure, has announced an extension to the application deadline for the Hiyaavahi Financing Program.

Originally launched on November 8, 2024, the programme has seen strong interest from applicants across the country.

According to Minister Muththalib, many applicants have requested an extension, citing the time required to prepare essential documentation such as drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs). In response, the Ministry has decided to extend the deadline for submitting applications under the programme’s various schemes until May 31.

Applicants are encouraged to take advantage of the additional time to prepare thorough and complete submissions.
