Maldivian to begin commercial flights to Muli on May 17

The national airline, Maldivian, has announced plans to begin commercial operations at Meemu Muli Airport.

Regional Airports Limited opened Muli Airport for commercial flights on May 8 after the completion of test flights.

In a post shared on X, Maldivian revealed plans to commence commercial flights to Muli Airport on May 17. The flight from Malé to Muli is expected to take approximately 35 minutes.

Maldivian plans to operate a weekly flight to Muli every Saturday, where passengers travelling on this route can also experience their premium and economy services.

The airline has now started issuing tickets for this route.

Maldivian Airline has a fleet of 25 aircraft, including ATR aircraft, Dash8 aircraft, A320 narrowbodies, and seaplanes used for domestic flights.

With its commercial operations to Muli, Maldivian has expanded its domestic network to 17 destinations.
