Maldivian pilgrims who performed Hajj this year will begin returning home in four groups between June 13 and 17, with flights operated by both Saudi Arabian Airlines and Maldivian. The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has urged the public to avoid airport crowds and large welcome gatherings due to the heightened risk of spreading infectious diseases post-Hajj. To safeguard public health, the HPA issued advisories including mask-wearing, avoiding contact with vulnerable individuals, and monitoring symptoms for two weeks after the pilgrims' return.
