The Maldives has been invited as the guest of honour at the Sharjah International Narrator Forum, a major cultural event hosted by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage in the UAE. The invitation follows discussions between Maldivian Ambassador Mohamed Hussain Shareef and Institute Chairman Dr Abdulaziz Al-Musallam on expanding cooperation in preserving oral traditions and intangible heritage. The Maldives’ participation will offer a valuable platform to showcase its cultural legacy to international audiences and deepen heritage-based collaboration with the Arab world.
