Air Arabia, the largest low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, will double its flights to the Maldives starting October 27, operating two daily flights between Sharjah and Malé. The airline, which began direct flights to the Maldives in October 2024 with one daily flight, operates A320 and A321 aircraft and serves over 80 destinations globally. This expansion is expected to boost Air Arabia’s presence in the Maldives and support the growth of tourist arrivals from the Middle East and North Africa, key markets for the country’s tourism sector.
