The Ministry of Social and Family Development has nearly completed the nationwide rollout of the Ijuthimaaee Badhahi Madhadhuverin (IBAMA) programme, with only three atolls remaining. IBAMA is a community-based initiative aimed at identifying and supporting vulnerable families through coordinated, multi-sectoral services. The Ministry is also working to digitalise the system to enhance data security, real-time access, and the use of standardised tools for assessing family vulnerability.
