The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources will host a free Discover Dive event for children aged 8 to 15 on June 21, 2025 at Hulhumalé Beach, in collaboration with local dive centres. Part of the World Ocean Day 2025 celebrations, the event aims to raise marine conservation awareness through safe, introductory diving experiences. Limited to 40 participants, the sessions will be supervised by certified instructors, with registration closing on 18 June.
