Maldives has added more than 700 new tourism beds in the first half of 2025, bringing the total number of registered beds to 64,033 across resorts, guesthouses, hotels, and safari vessels. As of mid-June, tourist arrivals reached 1,043,082 – a 9.1 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. The Government aims to attract 2.3 million visitors by year-end and is actively working to expand and diversify the tourism sector.
