The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has begun physical works for the Thaa Guraidhoo Airport project, starting with land reclamation. The project involves reclaiming 13.80 hectares, revetment construction, and coastal protection, valued at MVR 106.02 million and scheduled for completion in 300 days. The airport is expected to enhance transport links and boost local tourism and economic activity.
