President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has announced the launch of RTL ferry services in Raa Atoll, fulfilling his pledge to begin operations there before the end of June. Services will be free from June 26 to July 2 to encourage public familiarisation, with ticketed operations starting July 3. With Raa Atoll added, the RTL network now covers 10 atolls, as efforts continue to expand the service nationwide by year-end.
