The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Social and Family Development have signed an MoU to jointly develop a new online platform for publishing details of convicted child sex offenders, in line with Section 57 of the POCSO Act. The new portal, to be completed within a month and managed by the Ministry, aims to improve accessibility and functionality beyond what is currently available on the PG Office’s Aamahi website. The PG Office will continue providing technical support to enhance public access and strengthen child protection efforts.
