President Dr Mohamed Muizzu inaugurated the new Bank of Maldives ATM service in Faafu Dharan’boodhoo on Sunday. 

ATM service was inaugurated during his visit to Dharan'boodhoo, where he presented an inaugural bank card to the Island Council during a special ceremony.

The President also attended the foundation-laying ceremony for the new Dharan'boodhoo Health Centre building. The foundation stone was placed by Health Minister Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim.

Awarded to the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), the health centre project is expected to reduce residents’ need to travel to Malé for treatment and to bring significant improvements to both healthcare access and the community’s financial wellbeing.
