The names of candidates for two vacancies in the Tax Appeal Tribunal have been submitted to Parliament for consideration, with former Supreme Court Justice Uz Mahaz Ali Zahir topping the list.

The letter from President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, detailing the nominations, was read out during the opening sitting of the Parliament’s current session on Thursday. The list, arranged in order of priority, places Uz Mahaz Ali Zahir first, followed by Uza Ashiya Azeema.
