Minister of Tourism and Environment Thoriq Ibrahim said the success of Maldives’ tourism industry is rooted in the Government’s long-standing collaborative approach with industry partners.

Speaking at ceremony to mark the National Tourism Day, the Minister noted that the Government has always prioritised listening to and working with industry partners, a principle that will continue to guide future efforts. He stressed that collaboration will remain central in addressing challenges and shaping the next chapter of Maldivian tourism.

Minister Thoriq added that the Maldives continues to be one of the world’s most popular destinations and affirmed the Government’s commitment to maintaining this position.
