Two major development agreements have been signed for Alifu Dhaalu Dhan’gethi during President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s visit to the island.

The first agreement was signed for the construction of a new building for Dhan’gethi School, featuring ten classrooms and a multipurpose hall. The agreement was signed between Minister of Education Dr Ismail Shafeeu and Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) Managing Director Hamdhan Shakeel.

The second agreement was signed for the Dhan’gethi land reclamation and shore protection project. Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Dr Abdulla Muththalib signed the agreement on behalf of the Government, while Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) Managing Director Ahmed Saudee signed on behalf of the company.
