Practical works have commenced for the construction of a new police station and the shore protection project in Alifu Dhaalu Dhigurah, while the new administrative office of the island’s health centre was inaugurated, as part of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s ongoing visit to the atoll.

Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusaan inaugurated the Dhigurah Police Station project, and Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Dr Abdulla Muththalib initiated the shore protection works. The new administrative office of the health centre was inaugurated by Minister of Finance and Planning Moosa Zameer.
