A new Bank of Maldives (BML) branch in Shaviyani Kan'ditheemu, expanding access to banking services on the island during President Dr Muizzus trip to the island. On the same day, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new BML Islamic branch, attended by BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, and representatives of the island council. The bank noted that the initiatives are aimed at making financial services more accessible and inclusive for communities across the Maldives.
