Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has opened applications for its annual internship programme. 

Applications for the programme are open until 25 October 2025.

The internship aims to familiarise students with the diverse career opportunities available within MPL, encourage interest in maritime-related fields, and provide insight into the daily operations of the port.

This year’s programme offers placements across nine departments: Marketing & PR, Administration, Finance, IT, Procurement, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

According to MPL, each participant will be paired with a dedicated mentor who will provide guidance, share professional knowledge, and help students develop essential workplace skills.

The one-month internship is open to students who have completed their secondary education and are below the age of 18. The programme is designed to help young individuals gain practical exposure and build a foundation for future career development.
