Several key development projects have been launched in Laamu Maavah as part of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s visit to the island on Monday.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new Bank of Maldives (BML) branch, which aims to provide residents with easier access to banking services.

In addition, practical works have begun on several major projects, including a Police Post, road construction, shore protection works, a Fitness and Recreation Centre, and a Waste Management Centre.
