The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in the Maldives has announced 318 new scholarship opportunities for Maldivian students to pursue undergraduate studies in a wide range of disciplines. The scholarships, offered under the Saudi government’s education cooperation programme, cover 11 academic fields including business management, media, computer science, law, education, social sciences, agriculture, economics and politics, engineering, Islamic studies, and Arabic language studies.

In addition to opportunities at universities in Saudi Arabia, the initiative also includes placements at Saudi Iman University’s branch in the Maldives, expanding access to higher education locally. The Embassy stated that interested applicants can submit their applications via the official portal, studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa.
