Hanimaadhoo International Airport now offers an enhanced travel experience and strengthened international commerce with the inauguration of Bank of Maldives’ ATM and USD counter. The new facilities, launched by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu following the airport’s inauguration, provide travellers with reliable on-site banking and seamless currency exchange, complementing the airport’s expanded duty-free and commercial areas.

The redeveloped airport features a modern terminal for A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft, an upgraded runway, aerobridges, additional apron space, and improved passenger amenities, reinforcing Hanimaadhoo’s role as a key economic and transport hub in the northern Maldives.
