The Ministry of Finance has announced a search for a Commissioner of Reform to lead the recently established Economic Reform Office. This new office aims to streamline state sectors as part of broader financial reforms.

According to today's official Gazette, the role has been created to accelerate the Government's reform agenda. The full Terms of Reference are available on the Ministry's website, with interested candidates required to submit Expressions of Interest via email by Sunday.

The Government has already initiated several reform programmes, including a review of state subsidies, restructuring the national health insurance scheme (Aasandha), and merging institutions with overlapping functions.
