The Ministry of Tourism and Environment has begun data collection for the Maldives Visitor Survey (MVS) 2025 at Velana International Airport, with the process running until 15 December. The MVS is an exit survey designed to gather detailed information on visitor demographics, experiences, and perceptions of Maldivian tourism services and products.

According to the Ministry, the insights collected through the survey are crucial for evidence-based policymaking and help strengthen the Maldives’ competitiveness as a global tourism destination, ensuring that tourism development aligns with traveller expectations and emerging market trends.
