Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthen airport crisis management, with the Maldives Police Service and the Maldives National Air Traffic Services (MNATS).

The agreements were signed during a ceremony held on Monday. The MoU between MACL and the Maldives Police Service was signed by MACL Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed and Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen.

The second MoU, between MACL and MNATS, was signed by MACL CEO Shareef and MNATS Managing Director Thoha Ibrahim.

MACL said the agreements are intended to strengthen coordination among key stakeholders, clearly define roles and responsibilities, and enhance real-time communication to ensure an effective and timely emergency response at the airport.
