Minister of Social and Family Development Dr Aishath Shiham and Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage Adam Naseer Ibrahim have held discussions on collaborative activities aimed at supporting senior citizens.

The meeting focused on joint initiatives planned for this year in Israahvehinge Naadhee. The ministers discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two ministries to enhance programmes and services for the elderly.

Activities organised at Israahvehinge Naadhee are designed to promote the physical, mental and social wellbeing of senior citizens. These programmes are aimed at ensuring active participation, social inclusion and overall quality of life for older persons.
