President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended his condolences following the passing of veteran educator Aminath Hassan, fondly known as “Ainthu Miss”, who served in the education sector for more than three decades.

In his message, the President paid tribute to her long service, noting her contributions to teaching and the development of the Dhivehi language. He conveyed his condolences to her family, as well as to educators and those involved in Dhivehi language and literature.

The President also prayed for eternal peace for the late Aminath Hassan.

The Maldives is mourning the loss of a respected educator and public figure whose contributions to education, the national language and civic engagement left a lasting impact.
