Practical works have commenced on the extension building of the Dhaalu Rin’budhoo Health Centre, following a special ceremony held on the island.

The project was officially initiated by Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, who launched the commencement of construction at the ceremony. Speaking at the event, the Minister stated that the project fulfils a pledge made by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu during his visit to the island in February last year.

The new extension building is expected to address existing space constraints at the health centre and improve the delivery of healthcare services to the residents of Dhaalu Rin’budhoo.
