STO Healthcare has supplied an advanced cardiovascular ultrasound system to Hulhumalé Hospital, aimed at strengthening cardiac, paediatric and neonatal diagnostic services.

The GE Vivid E95 cardiovascular ultrasound system was installed at the hospital, followed by a structured application training session held on 22 February 2026. Healthcare professionals from Hulhumalé Hospital took part in the session, with representatives from Tree Top Hospital also participating.

The system was provided through STO Healthcare’s authorised partnership with GE HealthCare, a global medical imaging and healthcare technology company. 

Designed for high-resolution cardiac imaging, the GE Vivid E95 enables detailed evaluation of heart structure, function and blood flow. The configuration includes probes for adult, paediatric and neonatal use, supporting early detection of congenital heart conditions in newborns as well as comprehensive cardiac assessments across all age groups.

In addition to supplying the equipment, STO Healthcare provided installation, application training and technical support services. The company stated that ongoing after-sales support, including preventive maintenance and warranty coverage, will be provided to ensure sustained performance of the system.
