Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef has inaugurated a People’s National Congress (PNC) campaign office for Haa Dhaalu Atoll in Malé City ahead of the upcoming Local Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of the party’s leadership and several candidates contesting the elections. Candidates representing various constituencies of Haa Dhaalu Atoll were present at the event.

Vilimalé Constituency MP Mohamed Ismail, Minister of State for Economic Development and Trade Hussain Zahir, and other senior party officials also attended the gathering.

The People’s National Congress has been intensifying campaign activities in Malé and across the atolls ahead of the elections scheduled for 4 April 2026.
