The Maldives Hajj Corporation is providing the highest standard of service and assistance ever extended to Maldivian pilgrims during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has said.

The Minister made the remarks while providing an update on arrangements for Maldivian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia ahead of the key Hajj rituals.

Minister Dr Shaheem stated that Maldivian pilgrims will begin their journey to Mina tonight.

The Minister also stated that Maldivian pilgrims are scheduled to depart for Arafat tomorrow night following their stay in Mina.

He further noted that arrangements for Mina and Arafat had been fully completed and prepared in advance.

Minister Dr Shaheem added that the Maldives Hajj Mission continues to closely monitor the wellbeing and needs of pilgrims, while the Government remains committed to providing support and services to Maldivian pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage.
