The application period for this year's Bank of Maldives (BML) Bank Fund will close on Sunday, with eligible clubs and non-governmental organisations invited to submit proposals before the deadline.

The Bank Fund was introduced to provide financial assistance to registered clubs and associations across the Maldives to implement sustainable projects that benefit local communities. The grant programme has been offered annually since 2024.

BML said proposals must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on June 14, 2026. Application forms and project proposals can be sent via email to [email protected].

Under the programme, five organisations will each receive grants of MVR 200,000 to implement projects in areas including education, environment, sports and community development.

BML said the initiative reflects the bank's continued commitment to supporting community development projects across the country and creating opportunities for organisations to contribute to social and economic development.
