Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened a new self-service ATM centre in Fuvahmulah City.

The newly opened facility, located in the Fuvahmulah Airport area, is the fourth BML ATM in the city. The bank stated that self-service ATM facilities continue to be among its most widely used services, reflecting strong demand for convenient banking access across the country.

The latest addition follows a series of service enhancements in the city in recent years. BML also introduced a dollar ATM service in Fuvahmulah last year, providing customers with access to foreign currency withdrawals.

BML statistics show that customers deposited MVR 17.1 billion through the bank's ATM network in 2025, with more than 8.4 million transactions recorded during the year.

The bank has stated that the continued expansion of its ATM network is expected to enhance financial accessibility and support economic activity across the Maldives.
