People's National Congress (PNC) leadership has reviewed the latest preparations for the party's upcoming constituency elections.

The meeting was attended by PNC Chairperson and Speaker of Parliament Abdul Raheem Abdulla, along with PNC Parliamentary Group Leader and Inguraidhoo MP Ibrahim Falah. They met with constituency presidents to discuss ongoing arrangements for the elections.

The party leadership also met with members of the PNC Election Committee and officials involved in organising the elections.

PNC's constituency elections are scheduled to be held on 11 July. The nomination period for candidates closed yesterday.

The elections will be held to elect constituency presidents in constituencies where the PNC does not have a sitting Member of Parliament. In constituencies represented by PNC MPs, the respective MPs will serve as the constituency presidents.
