The Maldives National University (MNU) is taking part in the Maldives Financial Expo 2026, where it is showcasing its higher education programmes and engaging with prospective students and the wider public.

MNU said visitors to its exhibition stall can obtain information on the university's academic programmes, higher education opportunities and admission pathways, while also taking part in a range of activities organised throughout the three-day expo.

The university is also conducting financial awareness activities in collaboration with the expo, distributing informational materials on higher education and offering prize draws for visitors to its stall.

MNU stated that its participation is intended to strengthen public awareness of higher education opportunities while supporting efforts to promote financial literacy and community engagement. The university said the initiative also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those relating to quality education and skills development.

Organised by the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA), the Maldives Financial Expo is being held at Hulhumalé Central Park from 2 to 4 July, bringing together banks, financial institutions, Government agencies and other organisations to improve public access to financial services and information.
