Ambassador of Maldives to Japan, Ahmed Mahloof, met with President of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), Kuniharu Ebina, to discuss strengthening tourism cooperation, increasing Japanese tourist arrivals to the Maldives. 

They also discussed JATA’s support in enhancing destination promotion in the Japanese market, and expanding collaboration between travel agents in both countries.

The Ambassador stated that both parties are looking forward to increased collaboration and stronger tourism cooperation between the Maldives and Japan.
