Bank of Maldives (BML) Academy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with INCEIF University to provide expanded professional development opportunities for BML employees.

Through the partnership, BML staff will gain access to INCEIF University's internationally recognised programmes in Islamic finance, executive education, professional certifications and specialised training.

BML said the collaboration will also support knowledge sharing, leadership development and industry engagement, contributing to the continued growth of the financial sector in the Maldives.

BML Academy, the bank's dedicated training and development arm, was established to enhance the skills and knowledge of banking professionals through recognised education and training programmes. The academy has previously partnered with institutions including the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) and Singapore Management University (SMU) to provide learning opportunities for employees.

BML said it will continue to strengthen partnerships with leading educational institutions to expand access to quality training and support the development of the banking industry.
