The Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development has announced 25 fully-funded scholarships for Maldivian students to pursue higher education in Hungary through the prestigious Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme 2025-2026.

The scholarship places are distributed across academic levels, comprising eight Bachelor's degrees, 14 Master's degrees and three Doctoral positions.

Prospective candidates must maintain good standing on any existing Ministry or Department of Higher Education loans, seek advancement to a higher qualification than their current level, and must not be enrolled in any state-funded programme at the same academic level.

The scholarship programme encompasses full funding for successful candidates. Applications are being accepted through the centralised portal at myedu.egov.mv and the official Stipendium Hungaricum website until the deadline of Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
