The Bank of Maldives (BML) has contributed to improving Special Education Needs (SEN) facilities at Sala’huddheen School in Hulhumalé and Hiriya School in Malé, directly benefiting nearly 200 students with special needs.

As part of this initiative, classrooms were renovated, and specialised learning tools were introduced to support students’ development in an inclusive educational environment. These enhancements aim to foster individual growth and encourage positive learning experiences.

This project aligns with BML’s broader commitment to community development. To date, the bank has provided resources to 40 schools nationwide. Additional contributions include funding a therapy room at Imaduddin School and upgrading computer labs in schools across the atolls.
