President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended his greeting to Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Premier of the State Council, Li Qiang, on the occasion of Spring Festival and Chinese New Year.

In his messages, he conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the Government and the people of the Maldives to the leadership and citizens of China.

Reaffirming the Maldives' commitment to the One-China Principle, the President emphasised the importance of strengthening bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of both nations. He also highlighted the need to further consolidate the China-Maldives Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership to ensure continued progress in cooperation between the two countries.

Marking the occasion, the President also shared a message on his official ‘X’ account.
